Bimal Das provided good service. He was polite, attentive, and ensured everything was handled smoothly. Room dining was good, prompt service and quality food. However, I didn’t like the buffet dinner at the hotel. The options were very limited, especially for vegetarians (only 2’3 dishes), and the food was quite tasteless .Overall, a pleasant experience.

I ordered room service and had the butter chicken with garlic naan, and it was absolutely delicious. The flavors were rich, perfectly balanced, and the naan was fresh and incredibly tasty. It was honestly one of the best meals I’ve had during my stay.I was served by Mr. Bimal Das, who was exceptionally kind, friendly, and professional. He made the whole experience even better with his warm attitude and genuine hospitality. It’s rare to meet someone who clearly cares so much about making guests feel comfortable and well taken care of.Thank you to Mr. Bimal Das for such wonderful service and to the kitchen for the amazing food. I would definitely recommend ordering from this restaurant and I’m very happy with the experience.

I initially booked another hotel in town and was disappointed by the cleanliness, the service, and the lack of views. I then decided to book Hotel Soot as it had high reviews and I was hoping they were accurate. Not only were the high praises honest, it even exceeded my expectations! They really helped me out and took great care of me when I was very frustrated and had a bad day from the moment I stepped into the hotel. Reception was incredible and professional as well as all the staff! Not only are the rooms very nice, modern and clean, the staff here really is absolutely incredible. I also wrote a review for their rooftop lounge AIRE, highly recommend it! The food and the view is so fantastic. I had the breakfast buffet in the lobby and it was absolutely delicious. They made me a fresh dosa and I ordered a double shot espresso which was fantastic! Highly highly recommend!

Property is at a prime location near to airport. It's a small hotel. Corridors are narrow. Food is acceptable. Bathrooms, linen and towels are exceptionally hygienic. Room service is prompt and courteous. Staff is well behaved and ready to help. Shall recommend to business travellers on short visit. Not recommended for long stays or families with kids.

My stay at The Soot Hotel, Kolkata was truly delightful. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to assist with a smile. The rooms were spotless, well-furnished, and offered great comfort after a long day. The food quality was excellent ’ especially the local dishes that reflected the authentic taste of Bengal. I was also impressed by the hotel’s attention to detail and cleanliness.A big thanks to Miss Moumita Manna for her kind and friendly attitude ’ she really went out of her way to make guests feel welcome. I truly appreciate her efforts and the entire staff’s hospitality. Would love to come back soon. She is my One of the good friend and her nature is so good and polite.
