If it were possible, I would rate this place zero stars. The walls were covered in mold, cockroaches were all over, and water was leaking from every possible spot. The staff were rude and only seemed interested in money. This place feels like a scam. The only positive aspect is the location, which is why we chose to stay here.

This place really doesn't come across as a true hotel. It seems more like a residential building that's been turned into a hotel without the necessary infrastructure, ambiance, service quality, or amenities you'd expect from a hotel. From the start, our experience was disappointing. The property, rooms, cleanliness, upkeep, staff attitude, and service all fell well short of what we anticipated. Nothing about the stay felt professional or comfortable. The room and shared spaces didn't seem properly maintained. Basic amenities were lacking, and even simple requests were frustrating to handle. The staff and service were a big letdown. Considering the price, the experience was unacceptable. The photos and expectations set during booking didn't match the reality. Calling this a hotel feels like a stretch; it feels like a residential building converted into lodging without proper hotel standards. I truly regret picking this place and wouldn't suggest Hotel Rose Inn, Kolkata to anyone seeking a comfortable, well-managed hotel. There are far better options in Kolkata for the same or less money. Overall: poor property, poor service, poor maintenance, poor value for money. I would never stay here again.

Being a solo traveller I found this property not good enough for one single person forget about a couple in fact there was a guest who came over was disgusted.There’s a rule that nobody can come back after 12 midnight, another issue the rooms are very dirty and infected by cockroaches specially on floor one and two the amount what they charge and against that we all can find much better hotels around there. There were so many cockroaches coming out of everywhere, behind the backside of the bed, big from the corners of the bed it’s totally not recommended and acceptable for anyone you may get sick in fact by staying there this is how much bad it is.
