Kanchenjunga is breathtaking. Early mornings are best for sunrise enthusiasts, while the golden hour at sunset provides a romantic backdrop for couples.Food & Shopping: It is a foodie’s paradise, housing icons like Glenary’s and Keventer’s. It's a cozy hotel, the kind that you don't want to complain about. But..Not sure if it's because we went in off-season, or laundry is expensive, but bedsheet had food stains plus hair, the pillow cover also had stains, the towel had rust stains, you get the drift.We had pre-paid for two nights, so we decided to somehow manage and we slept in. We anyway had reached the hotel at night, since we had just arrived in Darjeeing. We were out the whole day the next day, but when we went back to the room, we saw a couple of small cockroaches, and I couldn't stay there longer. We left the hotel. Didn't really complain cause I felt all rooms would be like this.The rooms are warm, and hot water is excellent.

I loved walking here ’ the air felt so fresh, and every corner had its own charm.It’s not just a market, it’s an experience. You’ll see people sitting on benches sipping tea, tourists taking pictures, children enjoying horse rides, and locals chatting happily. The sound of the prayer bells from nearby Mahakal Temple makes the place even more peaceful.There are many small shops selling woollen clothes, souvenirs, and Darjeeling tea. Some prices are a bit high, but with a smile and a little bargaining, you can get good deals. Cafes around the Mall are cozy ’ perfect for a cup of tea or coffee with a mountain view.The best time to visit is early morning or late afternoon. In the evening, the place glows under street lights and feels calm and romantic. But at night, most shops close early, so don’t plan for late shopping.Yes, it can get crowded during holidays, and sometimes you’ll see horses and stray dogs around, but that’s part of its natural hill-station vibe.Overall, Darjeeling Mall is a place to relax, breathe, and feel the real spirit of Darjeeling.
