1. The hotel displays main building on the booking portals but their standard category rooms are not in same building.2. Standard category rooms have been located in another building but it is not mentioned during booking.3. People are generally booking by looking property photos but this hotel have not displayed pic of the building where standard category rooms are located.4. Bar is small and service are not upto mark. 5. In this price, services are not so good.

Due to a flight delay, I reached the hotel around 9:00 PM on the day of check-in. The next day, I politely requested a 2-hour late check-out. I was not demanding special treatment’I simply requested it, understanding that the hotel could decline if operationally not possible.What disappointed me was the contradictory explanation given by the receptionist.First, I was told that a late check-out was not possible because the room had already been booked for another guest. I was also informed that 30% of the room tariff would be charged.To clarify the policy, I asked a simple question: "If I pay the additional 30%, can I stay for another two hours?"The receptionist immediately replied, "Yes."This response made no sense. If the room was genuinely booked for another guest, how could paying extra suddenly make it available? It appeared that the explanation about the room being booked was simply being used to justify an additional charge rather than reflecting the actual situation.I travel extensively across India as part of my job and stay in hotels almost every week. This is the first time I've encountered such inconsistent communication regarding a late check-out request. I completely respect hotel policies and understand that additional charges may apply, but guests deserve honest, transparent, and consistent explanations’not contradictory ones.The receptionist's attitude was equally disappointing. Hospitality is not just about providing a room; it's about treating guests with professionalism, courtesy, and respect.The only positive aspect of my stay was the restaurant team. The breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant staff were courteous, attentive, and professional. They deserve appreciation for their service.Unfortunately, the poor experience at the reception overshadowed everything else. Based on this experience, I will be recommending to my company's travel administration team that Hotel The Raso be reviewed before being considered for future corporate bookings.I hope the management investigates this incident and provides better training to the front desk staff so that future guests do not have to go through a similar experience.
