Nice atmosphere and excellent service from Mr. Prathap, Mr. Babu, and Mrs. Monisha. They were always responsive to our calls and questions and very accommodating. Recommended for a short stay. Although the place is small with limited rooms, the location and service make it a pleasant place to stay. Much appreciated.

We had a very pleasant time here. The staff did their best to cater to all our requirements. We would like to appreciate pratap babu manisha and Girija for their service to make our stay comfortable.

Ibex Kotagiri is still under development. Located in a scenic valley on a small fenced area within a tea estate, it currently includes a main building and an outhouse on a higher level, plus two rooms down the road. At present, it resembles more of an Airbnb setup. During our three-night stay, we faced inconsistent wifi, issues with the water system, and had to closely coordinate meal planning and table arrangements with the staff since the manager was not onsite, despite having an all-inclusive meal plan. This caused several frustrating moments. On the upside, the food was home-style and nutritious, and the rooms were very clean, though the immediate surroundings and Kotagiri overall were less tidy, with construction debris and plastic waste scattered around. A standout was Babu, a staff member who genuinely tried to make our stay enjoyable despite limited infrastructure and managerial support; he deserves special recognition from management. Other staff members like Manoj in the kitchen, the two housekeeping ladies, and Prathap show promise but need proper guidance, which seems to be missing. Older guests might struggle with the elevation, so it’s best they avoid this place.

Our stay at Ibex Resort, Kotagiri was truly memorable. The rooms were spotless, the environment serene, and the staff friendly and caring. Special thanks to Chef Guru for the delicious meals, especially the perfectly crispy onion pakoda. We are grateful to Babu, Prathap, Monisha, and Girija for their warm hospitality and outstanding service, which made us feel very welcome. This place is highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful stay in Kotagiri!
