We stayed for 2 nights in a standard non-AC room in A Block. The room itself was decent, but the bathroom had a bad smell and the door didn’t lock properly. We asked the manager to change our room, but he claimed all similar rooms were occupied. However, the building was nearly empty only 3 families, including us, were staying there at the time, and all the others were in B Block. When we pointed this out, we were told those rooms were under reconstruction and that the remaining rooms were too small, so he refused to switch us. The food was decent, but breakfast was overpriced.
1. Location: The resort is around 1–1.5 km inside from the main road. Since it is away from the main street, you cannot simply walk out to buy something or access nearby shops/restaurants easily. Having your own vehicle is almost essential.2. Outside food: Swiggy, Zomato and outside food are not allowed. Since the resort is quite isolated, this essentially leaves guests with very limited food options and makes you dependent on the resort's restaurant.3. Food: Unfortunately, the food we ordered did not taste good and was not up to the expectations considering the price.4. Rooms: The rooms did not feel worth the amount we paid. The overall room quality and facilities did not justify the price.4. Wi-Fi & network: Wi-Fi connectivity was a constant issue during our stay. Mobile network was also unreliable in the area, so at times we couldn't make calls or use the internet properly. This was particularly inconvenient.5. Housekeeping: Room cleaning was not done proactively. We had to specifically complain/request housekeeping; otherwise, nobody came to clean the room.6. Toiletries: Only basic toiletries were provided. For a resort in this price range, we expected better amenities.Overall, the resort has potential, but considering the price, location, food restrictions, connectivity problems and housekeeping, we did not feel that the stay offered good value for money. I would recommend improving these basic services, especially housekeeping and Wi-Fi, and being more transparent about the restrictions on outside food.
