We spent 4 days at Kevin’s Placid Homestay in Fort Kochi and really enjoyed our time. The accommodation was warm, tidy, and genuinely homely. The female host was courteous and friendly, making our visit more pleasant. I strongly suggest this homestay for anyone traveling to Fort Kochi.

My stay at this homestay was awful. There was no water available throughout our visit — no running water for showering, cleaning, or even essential needs. This is a basic requirement, and it was shocking that such a simple facility was missing. What made things worse was the owner's total lack of responsibility. Instead of apologizing or trying to resolve the problem quickly, they were dismissive and uncooperative. There was no clear communication, no backup plans, and no accountability. This kind of neglect and poor management is unacceptable. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone. Avoid the hassle and choose a place that at least offers basic amenities and cares about guest comfort.
