Lilly's Valley Resort

This is an excellent place to stay, offering a delicious menu prepared with love and care. The rooms are cozy and have a pleasant atmosphere. One suggestion regarding the rooms: for guests like us who are over 60, the small carpets scattered around can be a tripping hazard. It might be better to consider replacing them with a single thick carpet, at least in the bedroom. Apart from that, it's a wonderful place to stay with no other recommendations.

The resort is stunning with breathtaking views. The staff are friendly and the amenities are excellent.

Fantastic location with a wonderful ambiance and atmosphere. The rooms were tidy and comfortable. I give this place a perfect 10. Great value for the price, including complimentary drinks and a breakfast with an amazing variety. The staff were very polite. I enjoyed a lovely family stay, thanks to Daniel and the amazing team at Lillys.

Stayed at Lilly Valley Resort for 2 nights and it was overall a very pleasant experience.*Parking*: Huge plus. The resort has a spacious, dedicated parking area which is a relief in Kodaikanal where parking can be a pain. No stress finding a spot even when the resort was full. Well maintained and easy to access.*Food*: Above average. We tried breakfast from their restaurant. South Indian breakfast was especially good. Staff were quick with service and open to small custom requests.*Rooms*: Honest take - the rooms do look a little aged. Interiors and furniture aren’t modern or fancy, and could use a refresh. But they were clean, beds were comfortable, and hot water was consistent. For the price point, you really can’t complain.*Surroundings*: This is where the resort shines. Tucked away from the main town crowd, it’s genuinely peaceful with lovely valley views and greenery all around. Waking up to misty hills and bird sounds was worth it. Perfect if you want a quiet retreat.*Overall*: If you’re looking for a 5-star luxury feel, this isn’t it. But for the price, peaceful location, good parking, and solid food, Lilly Valley is above average. Great pick for families/couples who value quiet surroundings over flashy rooms.

Overall, it’s not a luxury 5-star experience, but for the cost, tranquil location, good parking, and decent food, Lilly Valley stands out.
