Family • India • Oct 2026This heritage hotel is in a prime spot in Mahabalipuram, super close to all the main tourist spots. Overall, we had a pretty good experience there. Our deluxe room was nice, and the free breakfast they gave us was really good. They even have a swimming pool on the roof for guests. I saw the open car parking lot, and it seemed okay, but it might get full during busy times. The only thing I didn't like was the vegetarian restaurant connected to it; they charge way too much for their food and items, it's really expensive.

Stayed at Hotel Mamallaa Heritage during my visit to Mahabalipuram and had a very comfortable stay. The hotel is clean, well maintained, and conveniently located. I stayed in an AC room, which was comfortable and well ventilated with windows for natural light. The bed was especially comfortable, making it easy to relax after a day of sightseeing. The bathroom was clean, the shower had good water pressure, and hot water was available throughout my stay. Mahabalipuram Beach is only about a 10’15 minute walk (around 700 meters) from the hotel, and many other attractions are also nearby. The complimentary breakfast buffet had a good variety of options, the food was enjoyable, and the service was quick and efficient. The staff were polite and helpful, making the overall stay enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Mahabalipuram.

Our stay was pleasant, and we visited on a weekday, which made it more comfortable and less crowded.The swimming pool is well-maintained, and the room was decent and comfortable. It was equipped with all essential amenities like AC, fridge, shower, kettle, hair dryer, and a couch, which made the stay convenient.The food at the vegetarian restaurant was good, and the complimentary breakfast included with the booking was a nice addition.One of the best parts is the location’most of the major attractions are nearby and within walking distance.Overall, a good and comfortable stay. Recommended for anyone visiting Mahabalipuram.
