An amazing once-in-a-lifetime stay in Kashmir. Situated on the quieter Nagin Lake, you reach the place by shikara. The rooms offer traditional luxury. Nights can be chilly but there is ample heating. The boats are beautifully crafted. Most impressive was the service and warmth of the hosts. The onsite chef prepared tasty homemade dishes. We also used their vehicle for airport transfers and local trips, which were arranged flawlessly.

Stayed at a beautiful houseboat on Nigeen Lake, and honestly, it felt like stepping into a dream. Away from the usual crowd of Dal Lake, Nigeen has this calm, untouched charm that instantly slows you down. Waking up to still waters, the sound of birds, and those magical Kashmiri mornings was an experience in itself. The houseboat was cozy, clean, and full of old-world charm, exactly what you imagine when you think of Kashmir.What truly made the stay special, though, was the host.
