My stay at Moriz Hotel in Mysore was very disappointing and felt like a complete waste of money.The photos used for marketing do not reflect the actual condition of the rooms. The room I received was old, poorly maintained, and not as shown in the pictures.Basic amenities were missing. There were no towels or toothpaste provided in the room. When I asked the staff for toothpaste, they brought one, but later charged me 10 for it without informing me beforehand. For something as basic as toothpaste, this was unexpected and left a poor impression.Overall, the cleanliness, room quality, and service were below expectations. I would not recommend this hotel unless they improve their rooms, provide basic amenities, and use accurate photos in their listings.

I stayed at Moriz Inn, Mysore for two nights, from 26 to 28 July 2026, and my overall experience was much better than I expected.I booked the hotel through Agoda because it offered one of the best prices compared to other booking platforms. The pay-at-hotel option was another big advantage, as it provided flexibility without requiring any advance payment.Before arriving, I was a bit worried because I had read several negative reviews. However, those concerns disappeared once I checked in. The staff were friendly, polite, and very helpful. They even accommodated my early check-in request at around 4:00 AM, which I really appreciated after a long journey.I stayed in a Deluxe Room, and it was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The room had all the basic amenities I needed, including a comfortable bed, a clean bathroom, a water jug, an electric kettle, drinking glasses, and the staff even provided plates on request. While the hotel is not luxurious, it offers excellent value for the price, and I found it to be more than satisfactory.The location is another major advantage. It is conveniently located close to the railway station, Mysore Palace, and the main market, making it easy to explore the city.The only notable drawback during my stay was that the air conditioner was not cooling the room properly. Although it was running, it did not provide sufficient cooling, and I believe this is something the management should look into.Another minor inconvenience is that there aren't many good breakfast options within a short walking distance of the hotel. Although the hotel is in the city area, I had to walk a bit to find food, and I personally found the nearby restaurants to be relatively expensive and not very impressive. However, this is more about the surrounding area than the hotel itself.Overall, I believe some of the negative reviews are harsher than the hotel deserves. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, budget-friendly stay in a convenient location, Moriz Inn is definitely worth considering. With a small improvement to the air conditioning, the experience would be even better. I had a pleasant stay overall and would happily consider staying here again.— Rahul Raj

I reserved an air-conditioned room, but the AC was not functioning. The TV was also out of order since the subscription had lapsed. There was no free tea or coffee, and only a single bottle of mineral water was given. The bathroom was neither clean nor hygienic. I made the booking through an agent called Jamshad AT, but he did not accept responsibility for the issues with the lodging. Overall, it was a very unsatisfactory experience. I would not suggest staying here.

We reserved a room online for four people, but our stay was quite unsatisfactory. The bed area was insufficient for four guests. Although the listing mentioned a TV, the room did not have one. The electric kettle was outdated and in bad condition. Overall, the space and amenities did not live up to the booking description. I wouldn't suggest staying here until these problems are fixed.
