North Star Hotel

The hotel’s location isn’t good and too crowded. Most cabs refuse to come or go from the hotel’s location. The room also had smell of dampness which was causing constant headache and also room had no winodw for the price i paid. Although, the staff was polite and helpful and the premises of the hotel qas was clean

Stayed here with Family for 2 weeks to attend a wedding in the area, visit with family, and sightseeing India for the first time in Kolkata. This Hotel is fantastic, and could be relocated to any country and still be a great choice. This hotel property was recently updated and the decor, appearance, and style were all top notch. I personally stayed in 3 different kinds of rooms and they were all remodeled. The staff is very helpful, attentive, and become like friends if you have an extended stay. The hotel property boasts an excellent authentic Indian reasturant on site, with room service available off the same low price ( compared to American price points) menu. North Stat Hotel also has a separate bar area for watching sports, having a drink, or food.The location is a short Uber ride away to most tourist venues as well as the airport. I highly reccomend, if you are staying in Kolkata, you look to book your nights stay at North Star Hotel.

North star hotel and staff were excellent. The food was tasty and the service was exceptional. No issue as well being an English native speaker. The rooms were very clean with service every day if needed.

We stayed here in December and were very impressed by the comfort and hospitality. The rooms were spacious and well-kept, and the overall ambiance was serene and welcoming. The food was delicious and freshly prepared . The service was prompt and courteous throughout. Would definitely love to visit again.
