Ram Yoga House

I've had the opportunity to stay at Ram Yoga House multiple times, both for personal visits and while organizing yoga retreats, and I highly recommend it. My first stay was for several weeks during the monsoon season, and the entire team took great care of me. Their kindness, warmth, and sincere hospitality made me feel right at home. Since then, I've brought groups for yoga retreats, and it has always been a fantastic experience. The rooftop yoga shala offers stunning views of the Himalayas, providing an ideal environment for yoga and meditation that our guests always cherish. The staff are very welcoming, friendly, and ready to assist with any needs. The food is tasty, fresh, and abundant, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and well kept. The location is perfect if you want to be close to HH The Dalai Lama's temple and the sights of Macleod Ganj. Whether for a yoga retreat or to enjoy the Himalayas, I fully recommend Ram Yoga House. It's a place I keep coming back to and plan to continue doing so.

It is a nice friendly place. The staff will cook the food as you like it. Less spicy was important to me.

After traveling across India for several weeks, we've learned that first impressions are crucial, and Ram Yoga House understands this better than most. Before we arrived, Nilesh reached out via WhatsApp, noticing our two large bags, and offered assistance getting to the property. Promptly, he and another man appeared, carried our luggage through McLeod Ganj's winding paths, and about 10–15 minutes later, Nilesh returned to personally escort us the rest of the way to the hotel. This simple yet thoughtful act was much appreciated after a long journey through the Himalayas. From the beginning, Nilesh was warm, relaxed, welcoming, and genuinely helpful without seeming forced. Reading other reviews, it's clear why many mention him by name; he makes you feel quietly looked after during your stay. The deluxe room matched the photos perfectly: simple, clean, peaceful, and comfortable. It wasn't overly fancy or artificial, fitting McLeod Ganj's vibe well. There was no TV, which we surprisingly didn't miss. After weeks in India and with limited Hindi, disconnecting felt refreshing. The mountain views and calm atmosphere were more than enough. Though we stayed only one night, the checkout left a positive impression too. McLeod Ganj's roads and paths can be chaotic, especially for taxis, but Nilesh helped coordinate with our driver and guided us to an easier pickup spot. Some hotels just provide a room, but places like Ram Yoga House make you feel cared for, which matters more than you might expect after long travel. If you seek polished luxury, there may be better choices, but for genuine hospitality, peaceful energy, mountain calm, and people who truly care about your experience, Ram Yoga House definitely delivers.

J’ai eu un séjour formidable. Le personnel est extrêmement aimable, attentionné et toujours disponible avec le sourire. On se sent accueilli comme chez soi dès l’arrivée. La nourriture est vraiment savoureuse, chaque repas était un vrai délice. Les chambres sont très propres et confortables, avec une vue magnifique depuis la terrasse. Les cours de yoga sont aussi très bons, adaptés à tous les niveaux, avec une atmosphère calme et bienveillante. C’était un moment de détente et de reconnexion. Je recommande cet endroit sans hésiter.
