This hostel is very cozy, featuring a great atmosphere and welcoming staff. The rooms are tidy, prices are reasonable, and breakfast comes included. The standout feature is the rooftop offering breathtaking mountain views, along with inviting common spaces like a courtyard, kitchen, and a movie room equipped with a projector. The ambiance was fantastic, and I met many other travelers, leading us to join up for local trips and enjoy our time together. Special thanks to the owner, Eshay, and the team—Nishan and others—who were always cheerful and went above and beyond to assist. On the downside, the hostel is somewhat tucked away and quite a distance from Main Street, requiring an uphill walk that can be challenging with heavy bags. However, this elevated spot ensures a peaceful, quiet environment with amazing mountain scenery. Also, cooking for yourself isn't permitted in the kitchen, so meals must be ordered at an additional cost. Still, the food is delicious and affordable, with drinks available for purchase. Guests have free access to a fridge and water dispenser. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would consider returning.

Rooms and washrooms are very clean, located perfectly with beautiful views and less crowded. Nishanth can provide excellent recommendations. The food is tasty as well, making it a wonderful spot to relax and discover Ladakh.

Raybo has truly been one of my favorite hostel stays ever! I stayed here for a month and the travelers it draws are really special—adventurous folks from all around the globe. The volunteers, Nandini and Nishanth, along with the staff, are wonderful and very warm-hearted! They host cozy bonfire evenings and make it easy to connect with others for activities. The hostel is tucked away in a quiet alley, away from traffic, yet only a 10-minute walk from the main market. I appreciated that there was a female dorm as well. Plus, with many communal areas, I always found a quiet spot to read or work. I’ll definitely return ❤️
