There are so many things great about this place - Room cleanliness, in room dining experience, high tea experience Most of hall the amazing breakfast and buffett experience is by par the best one I have experienced yet.Every dish taste perfect. Hotel staff has made sure my 4 year old gets the food she wanted and they even made it complimentary. I will definately recommend this within my circle and will definately come back here again for sure.
It's the oldest and the most beautiful 5 star property in Leh.The staff is amazing and courteous.The rooms are beautiful, warm and spacious. They have floor heating in winters which keeps you cozy.The dining area is spacious and has a beautiful view.Their gym and spa is amazing.The spa is gender based and so it's a male to male and female to female massage only.The food is awesome.I stayed there for my birthday and they made sure to make me feel special by sending a birthday cake at 12 thanks to Miss Tenzin Nyima.I had a wonderful and memorable stay at the Grand Dragon and highly recommend this hotel of you are looking for a comfortable luxurious stay in Leh.

Solo Traveller • Mar 2026Not sure if the rates are consistent all year long but the advantage of going there ’off season’ is that the service you get is absolutely outstanding for what you pay for.The staff were truly efficient and helpful from the security / doormen to the front desk.I was with very limited time and they truly helped me to organise this short weekend with my last minute transport demands perfectly tailored for my needs.During my last visit to Leh I used another hotel that was equally excellent - but is closed in winter. Nevertheless, there is no doubt, Grand Dragon will be my hotel of choice in the future.
