Royale Lalit

For the past five years, I have been dining at the Royal Lalit hotel restaurant in Vaishali Nagar with my family and relatives, and until recently, we never had any complaints. The food quality and flavor were consistently good, which is why we kept returning regularly. However, starting this month, there has been a significant change. Although the taste remains good, the portion sizes have been cut to nearly half of what they used to be. The servings are now insufficient even for one person. I ordered Hakka Noodles and Paneer Lababdar with dal, but the quantity served was only about 200 ml, much less than the typical portion size of around 330 ml or more at standard restaurants. For just two people, I had to order two portions of Paneer Lababdar because one serving was not enough. If prices have risen, the hotel could raise their rates, but cutting the quantity this much is very disappointing. After being a loyal customer for five years, this was a very poor experience. Sadly, I do not intend to visit this hotel again.

Although the taste remains good, the dish portions have been cut down drastically, now almost half of what they were before and insufficient for one person. Last week, we ordered Dal Makhni and Paneer Tikka Masala, and the servings were so small they barely sufficed for a single person. If prices have risen, adjusting them is understandable, but such a significant reduction in portion size is quite disappointing. As loyal customers for years, this change was unexpected and disheartening. I truly hope the management brings back the original portion sizes because this is not the experience we used to have at Royal Lalit Hotel.

The room costs a lot—really a lot—given what it is like.

I recently booked my guest at Royale Lalit Hotel, Vaishali Nagar. The guest was well cared for and looked after. The senior management and staff at the hotel were very supportive, hospitable, and polite. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. Overall, my guest had a pleasant experience.
