Sai Vishram Beach Resort - Byndoor

The experience was quite average. The property might be acceptable if rooms cost between 3-6K, but charging 10K per room is too high. There were signs of animals in the room, as droppings were found on the floor overnight. The rooms had an unpleasant odor. The property feels worn out and isn't very clean. It requires significant maintenance to justify the 10K nightly rate. The only positives were the friendly staff and the excellent food.

My stay at Sai Vishram Resort was truly wonderful. The whole experience was calm and restful, set amidst stunning natural surroundings. I particularly valued the careful attention to small details, such as having scissors available in the room and using large water containers instead of disposable plastic bottles, showing their dedication to guest comfort and eco-friendliness. The food was another standout aspect. Each meal was tasty, with a great variety of options to pick from. The quality, flavor, and range made dining a pleasure every time. A favorite spot at the resort was the bench by the beach, where I could sit back, relax, and listen to the calming waves. It was an ideal place to unwind and enjoy the serene environment. In summary, it was an unforgettable and enjoyable experience. The lovely setting, considerate service, delicious cuisine, and peaceful vibe made my visit very special. I would strongly suggest Sai Vishram Resort to anyone seeking a tranquil retreat close to nature.

Very good maintained cottages. We booked AC deluxe cottages. Rooms are very well maintained. A huge open style bathroom. Bathroom is actually bigger than the room itself.Staff is super friendly. Went there along with 6year old son. He had painting activity after lunch. They serve tea and snacks in their private beach. Due to weather restrictions on the day we went there were no activities.Food served is simple and very healthy. It is a buffet system. We liked the food here.Morning 6:30 they take you to a trek to Ottinene beach view point. Very nice place where river meets see. The river delta is worth the visit

The cottages are very well kept. We stayed in the AC deluxe cottages, which were in excellent condition. The bathroom is large and open, actually bigger than the bedroom itself. The staff is extremely friendly. We visited with our 6-year-old son, who enjoyed a painting activity after lunch. They offer tea and snacks at their private beach. Unfortunately, due to weather conditions on the day of our visit, no other activities were available. The food is simple, healthy, and served buffet-style, which we appreciated. At 6:30 in the morning, they take guests on a trek to the Ottinene beach viewpoint, a beautiful spot where the river meets the sea. The river delta is definitely worth seeing.

Had a fantastic time at Sai Vishram Beach Resort! The beachfront location is stunning, tranquil, and kept in great condition. Our room was tidy and cozy, the staff were very polite, and the meals were tasty. With private beach access and a calm environment, it's an ideal spot to relax. A great escape close to Udupi — definitely recommend it!
