This resort is only there online.! When we reached Sam, we were directed to Royal Empire Desert camp...which is also called Serendipity online, we were told. And we had to pay extra for airconditioning. So be VERRRY careful and check all amenities while booking.

This place has a wonderful atmosphere, and I really enjoyed the night cultural folk dance. The cottage service was a bit lacking, but overall, it's a nice place.

We stayed at Desert Heritage Camp & Resort, Jaisalmer, booking one tent and one room. The tent stay was amazing and truly captured the desert camping vibe. The room was okay but didn't match the tent's appeal. In the evening, there was a cultural show with traditional Rajasthani acts, and we really enjoyed it. The lively setting encouraged us to join in the folk dancing, making the night special. A highlight was the Thar Desert Safari, which was fantastic, and the driver was very skilled. The exciting dune ride was definitely a top moment. We also tried the star gazing, which was a cool idea, but the lack of proper sleeping or reclining spots was a downside. We were two couples but had only one cot, so it was hard for everyone to relax and enjoy. Better seating or sleeping options would improve this. One minor issue was that guests were actively asked for reviews at the end, which felt a bit forced; it might be better to let feedback come naturally. Overall, we had a wonderful time, especially thanks to the tent stay, cultural events, folk dance, and the unforgettable safari. With some tweaks, the experience could be even more enjoyable.
