Shivalayaa by MJ Hospitalities

Me and my son booked 2 rooms for 3 nights 6 months before. But when we arrived, rooms were not ready because Agoda and hotel systems didn't connect well. Manish, the owner, fixed it quickly. In 30 minutes, we got moved to the hotel next door with same rooms for free. As an apology, he gave us a free dinner that night. He also provided our breakfast the next morning. After sightseeing, we returned and moved back to our rooms at Shivalayaa. Everything was sorted out smoothly. Manish was very nice and honest. Our rooms were just like the pictures. Wifi was great. If you get a room with breakfast, you will love it, it's really good.

The owner, Manish sorted it out. Within 30 minutes we were transferred tom the hotel next door in equivalent rooms at no additional cost. As an apology, Manish gave us a free dinner at his hotel on that first night. Manish also provided us with our 'included' breakfast the next morning. The next morning, we went out sightseeing and (on returning in the afternoon) moved back into our rooms at the Shivalayaa. The problem was resolved seemlessly. Manish was a gentleman at all times and totally honest and trustworthy. Our rooms were as described and as shown in the pictures. The wifi was excellent. If you book a room that includes breakfast you will be very happy ... it is excellent too.

I booked and paid 6 months in advance for 2 rooms for 3 nights. I arrived to find that the bookings had not integrated from AGODA into the hotel's booking system. Our rooms were not available that 1st night. Manish, the owner, put it right. He booked us into equivalent rooms in the hotel next door for 1 night and moved us back into his hotel for the next 2 at no additional cost. As an apology, he gifted us a free dinner on our first night. Manish was honest and an absolute gentleman throughout. The rooms matched their description and photos. The wifi was excellent. If your room price includes breakfast you are lucky because it is excellent.

Amazing place to stay in Agra - quiet, clean, and very helpful staff. Really near to Taj Mahal, 15-20 minutes to Agra Fort by tuk-tuk. Thanks for hosting us!

Notre meilleur logement en Inde! Le personnel est super gentil et s'assure que vous avez tout ce qu'il vous faut. Les petits déjeuners sont copieux et délicieux. La chambre est grande et propre, le lit est très confortable. C'est à 15-20 minutes à pied de l'entrée Est du Taj Mahal. Il y a des supérettes et des restos à moins de 5 minutes à pied. C'est vraiment notre meilleur logement en Inde.
