Shivam Hotel

So we had mad a booking with the mentioned Hotel in varanasi for November 5 to November 7 this booking was done in the month of August which is 3 months prior to the check in date we had all the conversations with the manager name Avinash. Today all of sudden we received a call from the hotel states the owner of the hotel ’stating he was not aware of the booking so we have to the booking’’ they also asked to to pay extra if we wish to continue with the bookings how inconvenience is this very very unprofessional behaviour by the hotel I would request people of they are reading this review not to book with this hotel they do not have a way to speak to the customerThe people from hotel has replied this review is written by me and they haven’t spoke to me about this review

Average rooms but quite better service than most hotels in that range.

The rooms were very nice and big the staff was very polite the best thing the food was very good

We had a comfortable stay at Shivam Hotel during Kumbh Mela time in Feb 2025. The room we stayed was well maintained, and it accommodated 3 adults conveniently. The bathroom was neat and clean, with hot water supply throughout. The staffs were well mannered. The hotel is in a local street, and proximity to railway station makes it convenient to reach. There is a restaurant in the ground floor and they serve North Indian food. Food was good. However, I felt they should pay attention to maintaining hygeniene and cleanliness at the dining area. Overall, I would recommend Shivam Hotel for a convenient stay away from the hustle and bustle of temple visitors.
