Silvanus Forest Retreat

The stay is cozy. We stayed in a private villa with pool. The rooms were spacious. However you might struggle for good and tasty food at their restaurant. The property is nice and green with a lot of flowers. Gave a very pleasant feeling

I had great expectations and was quite excited to visit Silvanus when I booked a 2 N stay here at their Flagship stay named ’premium forest suite with private pool’. I would bring out the property in the following categoriesRoom: Though the room was beautiful, it was very poorly maintained. They had thick cobwebs on the floor and the furniture displaying little intent to provide the best for their customer. The sofa placed in the loving room was a sofa cum bed which was absolutely in a degraded state. The colour of the sofa was faded and was dirty. It had huge chunks of dust below displaying it wasn’t cleaned or attended in ages. The blanket they provided to me for sleeping on the sofa once it was converted to bed was an absolute disgrace to the room and to the price paid for the stay. The walls of the room require whitewashing. The bathroom was in a sorry state and the tiles and walls were dirty. The only positive point was their private pool which was well maintained. Definitely not worth the price I paid for their top stay as they mention.Food: the food provided was tasty. However during breakfast I found the plates not thoroughly cleaned as I found dry food particles sticking on the plates. The vista restaurant is also poorly maintained and the chairs to sit were dirty and unhygienic. Please do not order chicken dum biryani here at any cost. It was an insult to biryani.Location: the location was cool and Revdanda beach and fort were accessible by road.Overall it was a fine experience which could have been much much better if thorough attention is paid to maintain department. The pictures displayed by the staff just don’t justify what they actually provide. Currently there are numerous better properties nearby offering better experience. One can visit the property once prior booking is the best option available right now.

Peaceful stay close to nature . Nice forest environment and very relaxing place. The property is very big and covered with trees everywhere. It feels like we are inside nature and the rooms are big and comfortable and neat and clean.Private pool is also very good and spacious. Perfect short trip away from city life. Good food and calm atmosphere made this trip special. Nearby Revadanda Beach is also very beautiful and nice to visit.

Had a wonderful stay at Silvanus Forest Retreat, Alibaug. The property is beautifully set amidst lush greenery, offering a calm and refreshing escape from the city. The overall ambiance is peaceful and thoughtfully designed, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway.The rooms were spacious, clean, and very well maintained, with great attention to comfort and detail. The hospitality truly stood out’special thanks to Ravi and Shailesh for their warm, courteous, and attentive service throughout our stay.The food was exceptional’fresh, flavourful, and perfectly prepared. Every meal added to the overall experience.Overall, a truly relaxing and premium stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind in nature with comfort and great service. Would definitely love to visit again.

This resort is extremely overhyped and not worth the money.Late check-in & overcrowding: When we arrived, the resort was hosting a large corporate event with around 150’200 people, who were clearly given priority. As a result, the property was overcrowded and noisy. If such large events are being hosted, they should not allow regular guests at the same time. We could not relax or enjoy any peace during our stay.Poor room quality & cleanliness: The rooms were very basic and not clean at all. The bedsheets and pillows were dirty, which was unacceptable. We had booked a forest-view room, but there was no view whatsoever.Network & Wi-Fi issues: There is very poor network connectivity inside the rooms, and the Wi-Fi hardly works. You have to step outside just to get any signal.Food (only positive): The only good thing about this place is the food. It tastes good and the quantity is sufficient.Overall, everything else was disappointing. I would not recommend this resort to anyone.
