Couple • India • Aug 2026I reached the hotel reception at 12:00 PM, only to be told that the room type I had booked was not available. The staff asked me to wait another 1–2 hours for the room to become ready. They also offered me an immediate upgrade to a Deluxe Room, but only if I paid an additional 600.This was frustrating because I had made a confirmed reservation and expected the booked room to be available on arrival. Guests should not be asked to pay extra simply because the hotel cannot provide the room category that was reserved. I hope the hotel improves its booking management to prevent other guests from facing the same inconvenience.
