This has to be one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in a very long time! The staff is absolutely amazing, and the hotel’s infrastructure is stunning. The place is called an oasis ’ and that’s honestly an understatement.The property’s location in Jaisalmer is just perfect ’ it’s peaceful yet right within reach of everything you’d want to explore. Whether it’s the fort, the local markets, or the desert experiences, everything is easily accessible while the hotel still feels like a calm retreat away from the bustle.The hotel itself is wonderful, but it’s really the staff who make it extraordinary. They turned my stay into something meaningful and recharging. From my first interaction with Kaustubh to the warm farewell from Harsh, every touchpoint felt special and thoughtful.I truly hope the staff remain as motivated and encouraging as they are now ’ they’re what make this place so remarkable. Highly recommended!

The property itself is undeniably stunning. Architecturally and aesthetically, Suryagarh truly lives up to its reputation’every corner feels grand and thoughtfully designed, making it a visual delight.However, the overall experience fell short when it came to hospitality and service. The staff asked us if we were celebrating a special occasion, and when we shared that it was our first wedding anniversary, we were surprised to receive a burnt cake. This felt careless and disappointing, especially from a luxury property where attention to detail is expected.Services like valet parking were only proactively offered at the time of check-in. After that, the guards and staff seemed largely indifferent, and we were often left to manage parking on our own without any assistance.The breakfast spread was good and enjoyable. However, the ?? la carte food was quite average and lacked freshness, which again did not align with the standards one would expect from a hotel of this stature.Overall, while Suryagarh excels in terms of aesthetics and ambience, the lack of consistent hospitality, service attentiveness, and food quality significantly impacted our experience. With better training and attention to guest experience, this property could truly match its visual grandeur.

Beautiful hotel with authentic local architecture and thoughtfully planned amenities. The service, food, and NYE dinner were excellent. Highlights included the temperature-controlled pool and the charming kitchen gardens and livestock areas. Perfect for a 3 night stay where you can just relax and enjoy the property without getting bored

The Global Standard: This hotel may seem like a "good five-star" to those who haven’t experienced five-star luxury beyond India. We cut out visit short at Sujan to come stay here as the ratings were high. However, for seasoned travelers used to international standards, the management and maintenance fall significantly short.’ Infrastructure & Room Issues: The "Haveli" building is beautiful but feels non-operational. We dealt with constant noise in our room. Furthermore, the Penthouse bathroom drain was broken, causing the floor to flood. We had to lay towels everywhere just to navigate the room and get dressed.’ Logistics & Management: Management oversight is lacking. We had to complain multiple times regarding the cars the hotel provided before they finally allowed us to inspect one.’ Staff & Dining: On a positive note, the service staff are the hotel's saving grace. Meeting both Rahuls at breakfast was a highlight. However, when meeting the Chef to plan a private meal, we found a lack of creativity; no ideas or varieties were offered to make the event special.Final Verdict: The people and the service are good, but the overall hotel management is not. A beautiful building cannot hide the lack of functional five-star operations.
