Our Recent stay at Kaal was Great. Luxurious Rooms, Cleanliness and accessible accommodation. Highly supportive staff n always on the toes.A must to mention thing, Food was delicious n served in best possible manner with all etiquette and as per residents wish (at times)Even the Reception Desk was Very supportive. A special mention about ’Miss Debo’ who took effort to upgrade our room for beautiful scenic view.Thanks Team Kaal, for making Leh trip memorable

A heartfelt thank you to the entire team of hotel Kaal for making our stay in Leh so wonderful and memorable. We were a group of 7 family members and friends, and your warm hospitality truly made us feel at home like family.The rooms were very comfortable and well heated, which helped us greatly in the extreme cold weather outside. The food was excellent throughout our stay, and we especially appreciate the special Jain food arrangements made separately for one of our family members. Having hot water available at all times was also a great comfort.Special thanks to Nasim Ali, Anu, and the entire support staff for their kindness, care, and excellent service during our stay.Though the location is a little away from nearby places, the warmth and hospitality of the team more than made up for it. Thank you once again for making our Leh trip so special and memorable

Had a really great stay at Hotel The Kaal, Leh. The hotel is very comfortable, clean, and well maintained with beautiful views.The best part was the staff ’ everyone was extremely helpful, polite, and welcoming throughout the stay. Special thanks to Sunny, Nasim, and Devid from the restaurant team for their amazing hospitality and service. Also thanks to Raahil, Debo, and Annu from the reception team for always being supportive and friendly.A special mention to the owner, Stanzil, who is a genuinely kind and humble person and made the stay even better.Highly recommended for anyone visiting Leh!

I have visited Ladakh several times before and usually stayed in budget hotels with basic but comfortable facilities. However, since this was my wife’s and little daughter’s first trip, I decided to spend more this time expecting a more comfortable experience. Unfortunately, the stay did not fully meet expectations.Our flight landed in Leh at 9:45 AM and we reached the hotel by 10:15 AM, only to be informed that we would need to wait until 12 PM as the room was not ready. Considering most flights arrive early morning and travelers in Leh generally start their day early due to long journeys to places like Nubra and Pangong, the late checkout timing felt inconvenient. Still, we waited patiently in the lobby.Dinner was served ?? la carte instead of buffet due to supposedly low occupancy, but the restaurant became crowded shortly after and many guests struggled to find seating. Breakfast options were limited, and on the day of checkout there was no hot water due to plumbing issues and even extra towels were unavailable.We had initially planned to return to the same hotel after visiting Nubra and Pangong, but decided otherwise and requested a refund for the advance booking. To their credit, the staff handled the refund promptly and courteously.I would not call this the worst hotel in Leh, but considering the price charged, the overall experience could have been much better. It felt like the hotel was short-staffed and unable to maintain the level of service expected. I genuinely hope they improve and wish them the very best.

The hotel property has a favourable location- very peaceful and away from the hustle bustle of the town market. The rooms are squeaky clean, the food served in-house is delicious and to top it off, the staff are exceptionally courageous, thoughtful and friendly. Indeed 5-star property with 5-star service
