Best Rajbari ever. Good behaviour of staff, excellent property, excellent food.

I , my son Bireshwar and my wife Sayantani visited The Rajbari Bawali as a daycation on first week of August 2026.The short distance branch road towards the main gate was not that in good shape. At the gate we were welcome by the Rajbari employees in Bengali culture style.It was a very big palacial building of very old style. The Rajbari is approx. 250 - 300 years old and was built by a Zamindar (Land lord). It is understood that the very old and crumbling big structure has been restored scientifically and given modern touch to transform It into a grand , beautifully organized hotel.There is a pool within the complex. The area of the complex is big. Lots of different segments of the Palace are observed. All these are being maintained with sufficient care.There is very big dinning hall which has multy-row sitting arrangements.They served food of strictly Bengali cuisine.The food was very delicious and there were several items of Bengali originViz. Aloo-posto, Aloo jhuri Bhaja, fish-egg bhaja , Vetki fish fry, veg. dal, chicken kosha, beguni, papad, chutney and karai sutir kachuri and fruit salad. The desserts included the famous Bengali origin and exclusive rosogolla, Sandesh and misti doi. The foods were served in old Bengali style plates, bowls and glasses.It was a grand feast for mouth and belly. The amount of food items were enough.All the lady employees were dressed in Bengali styled saree and blouse. The gents employees were also dressed nicely.The behaviour of the employees and staffs was very cordial.We did not stay in any room.It is a costly and grand hotel.It was a very sweet memorable day for us.

Lovely location with friendly hospitality. The concert in the evening was nicely arranged. Many thanks to Subhajit for looking after us so well during our visit.
