We had a comfortable day’s stay at the property. The staff was excellent and food was great. Approach road to the property is narrow but the property itself is excellent.
If u are ready to spend 15000 per day without lunch, this place is best located near hills and 15 mins drive to town . Food is best, coffee taste can be improved
My recent stay at The Silversky Hotels and Resorts was truly memorable and exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The resort is very easy to locate and conveniently accessible from the Chikmagalur market area. The approach roads are exactly what one would expect when heading towards a mountain retreat, and the journey gradually opens up to beautiful scenic surroundings. What I appreciated the most was the sense of calm and quiet that envelopes the property. The setting feels refreshingly peaceful and immediately sets the tone for a relaxing stay.The check in experience was surprisingly impressive. Since the resort was not fully occupied during my visit, the team graciously upgraded my booking to a suite room without any hesitation. The entire process was handled efficiently and I completed the formalities in less than 10 minutes. After a long drive, that smooth and welcoming start made a wonderful first impression.I stayed for 2 nights and the suite that was offered to me was immaculate. The room was very well maintained and thoughtfully arranged. There were 2 televisions provided, one in the bedroom and another in the sitting area which had comfortable sofas. All the essential amenities were available and everything felt carefully prepared for a comfortable stay.Food turned out to be the highlight of my experience. Initially I was considering exploring some of the well known cafes and restaurants around Chikmagalur, but after tasting my first meal at the resort and going through their menu, I decided to have every meal at the resort restaurant. I would especially like to appreciate the wonderful hospitality extended by Mr Praveen and Mr Eeshwar from the restaurant team. Their warmth and attentiveness stood out. They enthusiastically suggested different delicacies to try and kept encouraging us to enjoy more items even though we had opted for a package. What I sensed very clearly was their genuine intent to serve guests rather than simply sell dishes. One moment that I will always remember was when they noticed that we had eaten very little at breakfast before our departure. They immediately offered to pack a meal for our journey. Such thoughtful gestures leave a lasting impression.The ambience of the property is exactly what I had hoped for when planning a trip to Chikmagalur. The resort sits amidst coffee plantations and at the foothills of the majestic Mullayanagiri. From the room itself I could see the mountain peak in the distance. Watching the sunrise from the room balcony was a special experience. During leisurely walks around the property I also noticed several varieties of flowers and birds. One that particularly caught my attention was an orange sparrow with a black head which I later learned is a species commonly found in the Chikmagalur region.Although the resort offers facilities such as a gym, spa, and swimming pool, we did not really feel the need to use them. Most of our time was happily spent relaxing in the room, enjoying the views from the balcony, and taking slow walks around the estate.Service responsiveness throughout the stay was excellent. The housekeeping team was quick and attentive whenever we required anything. I would especially like to thank Geeta and Ramya for their prompt support and warm service during our stay.Overall the experience offered excellent value across every aspect including the stay, the food, and the ambience. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and peaceful getaway. I would gladly return if I plan another trip to Chikmagalur and will certainly recommend this resort to friends and family who are looking for a relaxing stay surrounded by nature.
