Siri Nature Resort

Going to Chikmagalur for the first time we were not sure on our stay over there. One of my friend suggested me this resort. However after spending 2 days in the resort I can say this was the best experience we all had.We went a month back. It was saturday and we reached at around 1 PM.The place location is awesome and it is well maintained. It is clean and surrounded by greenery. The place has cottages having double to triple beds. There are other amenities like carrom, chess board, table tennis which are free to use. The best part is the bonfire place .There are provisions of music system. You can party there with the group .If there is a power cut , you can get a quick generator service. The hospitality is too good. Anything you ask for they would come with an answer" Sir NO PROBLEM!!!!!). That was the best part.Guys if you are planning to enjoy the stayout, go hit this place. Its worth a visit both enjoyment wise and money wise.Importantly this place is totally safe as there are cctvs everywhere. So no worry about thefts and other stuffs.

The resort is pretty good and the room with jacuzzi is quite spacious. Staff is helpful but service can be better. Sometimes we had to make couple of calls only then they would come. If you are a nature love then this place is for you. Its at a convenient location as well. Breakfast is really food with a food variety

Extremely Disappointing ExperienceWe booked the Duplex Top Facility Villa at Siri Nature Resort, Chikmagalur, expecting a comfortable premium stay, especially considering that the property is presented as a 4-star resort. Unfortunately, the actual condition of the villa and facilities was extremely disappointing and nowhere close to what we expected from a property in this category. From the moment we entered, the lack of cleanliness and basic maintenance was obvious. The bedsheets and pillows had visible stains, the sofa/upholstery appeared dusty and had marks/residue on it, and several areas looked as though they had not been properly deep-cleaned for a long time. The chair was heavily stained and worn out. These are basic hygiene standards that even an ordinary lodge should be able to maintain. The problems were not limited to cleanliness. The AC was not working properly and the water heater was also not working, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. When a guest books one of the property’s higher-category villas, functioning air-conditioning, hot water and clean bedding should be the absolute minimum’not something guests have to complain about after checking in.The private swimming pool was another major disappointment. The pool and surrounding area appeared poorly maintained, with visible discoloration/staining and damaged or missing mosaic tiles in several places. Looking at its condition, we simply did not feel comfortable using it. A private pool is supposed to be one of the main attractions of this villa, but in this condition it became a facility we could not properly enjoy.Even the outdoor areas around the villa looked neglected and in need of proper cleaning and maintenance. Overall, the property gives the impression that preventive maintenance and housekeeping have been ignored for a considerable period of time. What makes this especially frustrating is the difference between the expectations created while booking a 4-star nature resort and premium duplex villa and what was actually provided. We did not book a budget room or basic lodge. We paid for a resort experience and expected a corresponding level of hygiene, maintenance and functioning amenities. Our main issues were:* Stained bedsheets and pillows* Dusty/unclean upholstery and sofa* Heavily stained and damaged chair* AC not working* Water heater not working* Private swimming pool poorly maintained and not inviting to use* Damaged/missing pool mosaic tiles* Poor overall housekeeping and maintenance* Facilities and condition not matching the standard expected from a 4-star resortI am attaching photographs with this review so that prospective guests can see the condition we encountered for themselves. For a property marketed at this level, these are not minor cosmetic complaints. Clean bedding, hygienic furniture, functioning AC, hot water and a properly maintained swimming pool are basic hospitality requirements.Management seriously needs to inspect these villas, improve housekeeping standards, repair the facilities and carry out proper maintenance before allocating them to guests.Based on the condition we experienced, I cannot recommend this villa at its current standard. The property may have a beautiful location and potential, but the level of cleanliness and maintenance we encountered falls far below what we expected from a 4-star resort.’ 1/5 ’ Very disappointing experience.
