This used to be our favorite spot until about a year ago. We went back to the Bamboo Rooftop Restaurant for dinner yesterday with the same high hopes, but sadly, we were quite let down by the quality, taste, and service of the food. We ordered our usual dishes — BDF, dragon chicken, rice, and dal — but something was definitely off compared to before. The food took a long time to arrive, and it was already past 10:30 PM when it finally came. Even more disappointing was that the staff seemed rushed and kept making us feel like we had to finish quickly and leave. After waiting so long, we expected to enjoy our dinner calmly, but that didn’t happen, and we ended up wasting more than half the food. If we had known about any mandatory closing or exit time in advance, we wouldn’t have ordered at all. This was not the experience we expected from a restaurant in a 4-star hotel. It’s the first time we’ve been so disappointed here, which is especially sad since we used to really like this place. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving the food and service. People spend their hard-earned money here, and experiences like this make them reluctant to recommend the restaurant to others.
