Very responsive reception, especially Manager Ibadh. Support staff are very active, Breakfast was delicious even though lesser options. Location is on outskirts of ooty but a very scenic view of Ooty Tea gardens..

We had booked a mahogany rooms for a family of 4 for (all adults) for 3 nights.Pros:-1. Valley view from the room is very beautiful2. Rooms are clean and neat3. Location is nice and is on a hilltop4. If there is no rain, bonfire is kept free for all5. Inhouse restaurant prices are reasonable and food is tasty.6. Hot water for bathing is available 24??7.Cons:-1. As compared to the price, the room is small and the bathroom is congested.2. Road to the hotel is all broken and can lead to punctured tyres.3. There is no light near the dressing mirror.4. It is 3.5km away from city centre and because of tourist traffic in ooty you can be stuck in traffic for a long time.We paid 8.5k per night and were expecting much bigger room.

It was with great hope that we booked the Treebo Windsor Heights (May 15, 2026), expecting a nice experience. I booked one room for ’ 9,853, but it was a total disappointment. First off, the road toward the hotel is a disaster; you have to be careful while climbing up, as there is a chance your vehicle may slip off due to stones. Second, we were looking for a single room that could accommodate two adults and our two kids. From the photos on the Treebo website, the room looked much more spacious and cozy, and so did the bathroom. When we checked in, it was all different. The room was cramped, with a small bathroom, a low ceiling, and, unlike in the photo, two different mattresses (but that's okay). We had a discussion with the staff, and they were not ready to change the room. After pleading, they did one good thing and gave us a complimentary breakfast. One of the staff members with whom I was interacting seemed careless, as he called me on the phone around 4-5 times while I was exploring Ooty, thinking it belonged to other guests. He said we did not have rooms, that they were all sold out, even though I had already checked in.The terrible thing happened the next morning. When we tried to use the bathroom to get ready, there was no water. When we called the reception, they told us the water tanker would be coming soon. After waiting for half an hour, I went to the reception, and the other guests were all there, but the staff had absconded from the scene. We all tried calling their phones, but no one picked up. After an hour or so, the tanker arrived and water came. It was a terrible experience in recent times.They have a small play area and have placed carrom boards on two of the floors. There is no space to explore the hotel surroundings.
