We had an amazing family stay at Shakati Villal The place is very clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained. The rooms are comfortable and perfect for a family trip. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, which made our time together even more special. The staff was Very polite and helpful throughout our stay. Kids and elders both enjoyed a lot. Highly recommended for families looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. We will definitely visit again!

The food was really tasty .We had requested a candle-light dinner in the garden, and they made it happen so beautifully. The setup was simple yet elegant, with lights, flowers, and such a calm atmosphere. It truly made our evening special’’Overall, amazing service, great food, and a lovely experience. Stunning Property, Catastrophic Management ’ A Wedding NightmareI attended an event here in February 2026, and while the resort is physically beautiful, the management is utterly incompetent. I watched the hosts struggle all day to fix basic issues that the hotel should have handled. If you are planning a high-stakes event like a wedding, stay away.Critical Issues:Hygiene & Maintenance: Despite paying ~20k INR for a room for a 2 day event, the towels and pillow covers were visibly dirty/grey. At least 8 rooms had leaking toilets or broken showers. The area behind the pool was a literal dumping ground for trash, leading to swarms of flies and mosquitoes in the B-Block rooms.Accessibility Failures: There are no elevators. For a 50-room resort, they have exactly one working wheelchair and one golf cart. Worse, the golf cart is unavailable after 10 PM because the manager takes the keys to bed, leaving elderly guests stranded. The breakfast lawn is uneven and a genuine tripping hazard for toddlers and seniors.Zero Service Mindset: Room refrigerators didn't work; we had to "bribe" restaurant staff just to keep the communal Coke fridge on overnight for baby food and flowers. They charge 500 INR for a second room key, and if you're locked out, you must wait for the one person on-site with a master key.Logistics: The location is not served by Uber or Blinkit. Instead of helping, staff hide behind "hotel policy."Management: The "Trulyy" managers show up for photo ops but ignore guest complaints. They only listen to the person holding the checkbook, ignoring the actual guest experience.Verdict: We only salvaged this wedding because of the relentless efforts of our family. Do not risk your special occasion here. They lack the basic training and hospitality standards required for this price point.

I recently organized a wedding there for my sister and had a mixed experience. The location and hotel are stunning, great venue and rooms.My primary complaint was against the night staff at the property. They were extremely uncooperative and would not help out with anything that guests needed. They even refused to give a golf cart for the elderly and they had to walk alone. No room service, people had to wait for over an hour to get water to their rooms.On the flip side, the day staff was very helpful and made sure things were smooth. Himanshu and his team made everything happen on time and were available whenever we needed, and I don’t want to underplay their role in the success of the event.I hope they improve the hospitality as the location is really nice and can be one of the best wedding locations in Udaipur
