Whispering Woods Resort-Lonavala

I had booked two shamiana tents for my family on 27 December. We reached the resort around 12:30 pm for check-in. The first point of contact at any hotel is the reception, and unfortunately my experience there was very disappointing.When I approached the lady at the reception to ask about the check-in process, she responded rudely and said she was assisting another guest and could not help. I waited patiently for around 15 minutes. When my turn finally came, she started processing another guest’s check-in ahead of me. When I pointed out that I had arrived earlier, she again responded rudely and insisted the other guest came before me.There was also an elderly gentleman at the reception who had been waiting for over 30 minutes, and the receptionist spoke to him in a similarly rude and unprofessional manner.The receptionist’s behavior was highly unprofessional and left a very bad first impression of the resort. Because of this, my first experience was quite unpleasant. The rest of the stay was just okay, but the poor handling at reception definitely impacted the overall experience.

Good place to visit. Our group enjoyed lot. The food quality and quantity is good enough. Staff is co operative. DJ, Night, swimming pool, garden area, children's play area, and carom and TT table etc things are available to explore. Other than that 1 or 2 Dams, Ekvira Temple, Maapro Garden, Sunils wax museum etc are the places to explore nearby.

We took Duplex room for 8 members. Stay was Good. Neat and clean. Breakfast was really good. We had 6 options in buffet. We missed DJ.

The surroundings are green, peaceful, and well maintained, creating a nice getaway atmosphere. From what I could see, the rooms and facilities looked neat and welcoming, though I cannot comment on the service or stay experience directly. The property itself felt like it could be a good option for a weekend retreat or even small celebrations. Its location is convenient and adds to its charm. Overall, based on my first impression, I would rate Whispering Woods Resort 4/5 and would definitely consider it for a future stay.
