This is among the top hotels to stay at in Shillong. You'll surely appreciate the ambiance, and the staff are very courteous.

I reserved this hotel online and paid in full ahead of time. Upon arrival, after showing my booking voucher, the staff told me they no longer accept online bookings and directed me to seek a refund from the booking partner. This was very frustrating and a total waste of my time. To add to the problem, the price for a walk-in room at the hotel was significantly higher than the online rate. I had to contact the booking partner to file a complaint, and my refund is still not processed. If the hotel no longer accepts online reservations, they should remove their listing from booking sites instead of letting customers book and pay upfront. This causes unnecessary trouble and leaves guests stranded upon arrival. My suggestion to others: don’t count on an online booking here to guarantee a room. Check directly with the hotel before traveling, or you might waste your time and wait for a refund.

Staying here involves a lot of scams. They refuse to acknowledge any association with third-party booking apps and ask for extra payment before letting you check in. The hospitality is terrible and greedy, showing no basic kindness to a weary traveler. This hotel does not live up to the saying “Atithi devo bhav.” I would not recommend staying here.

They refused to let us check in using our online booking and told us to cancel it and rebook offline with additional fees, or else leave the hotel. The staff were very rude and unwelcoming.
