Cafe Sola bnb

I went to Sola Cafe for dinner and ordered Yaki Udon ramen. The flavor was really unpleasant. They brought tungtap on the side to mix with the noodles, but it gave the dish a bad smell and an unappetizing appearance. Among all the noodle choices, I would give this a 1/10. I've tried other noodles here and they were good. The spaghetti is also very delicious. Only the ramen was disappointing. Before eating, it looked unappealing so we thought it was chutney. We mixed it with the Yaki Udon ramen, but it was tungtap and it made the taste even worse. The tea we ordered was also not hot, almost cold. Overall, it was not a good experience.

Cafe Sola is situated away from Shillong's main area, making it peaceful and less busy. The room offered a stunning view, though part of it was obstructed by construction work. For a better view, you can visit the restaurant upstairs. The rooms were tidy and pleasant, with minor problems like a broken bolt latch and some lights not working. Note that you need to use stairs to reach your room and the restaurant, as there is no elevator. We stayed in room 206, which was two flights below ground level. The food was excellent, especially for those who enjoy non-vegetarian dishes, with a variety of continental options. The complimentary breakfast was decent. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay for three nights.

The location enhances the atmosphere on the upper floors, and the music is truly uplifting.

Our stay at Cafe Sola was one of the highlights of our Meghalaya trip! The rooms were fantastic, and the views from the deluxe rooms were breathtaking. The staff were very helpful and polite throughout our visit. Breakfast was tasty and everything was well managed. We encountered no problems during our stay. Please keep up the excellent service. If I return to Meghalaya, your hotel will definitely be my top choice. Thanks from me and all 13 members of my group who stayed for two days. Everyone was pleased and completely satisfied with the hospitality and services offered.

Nice spot to stay in Shillong. The food and atmosphere are great.
