One of the first things worth noting is that getting to this hotel is an experience on its own. You need to travel across the stunning Dal Lake, and only after crossing the entire lake do you reach the hotel. Its position at the lake's far end offers a tranquil and exclusive atmosphere, away from the usual crowds. What really distinguishes this hotel is its unique concept. True to its name, the property boasts its own private apple orchard. Guests can unwind among the apple trees, enjoy the calm environment, or even hold a small gathering in the orchard. The ambiance is very peaceful and refreshing. Although I visited in April when the apple trees were not in fruit, I could easily picture how beautiful the orchard must be during harvest time, with lush trees full of fresh apples creating a memorable experience. The hotel itself is just as impressive. The rooms are cozy and well-kept, and the interiors have a warm, inviting feel with carpeting throughout. On the first floor, there is a small library, offering a quiet spot for guests who like reading or relaxing indoors. The views from the rooms are another highlight. From the windows, you can see stunning snow-capped mountains. Sitting by the window with a cup of tea or coffee in the morning or evening while taking in the scenery is a wonderfully calming experience. The location is also a big plus. The hotel is conveniently close to both the Tulip Garden and Dal Lake, making it a great choice for travelers wanting to explore Srinagar’s main attractions while enjoying a peaceful stay. If I were to suggest one area for improvement, it would be the breakfast. This is more a suggestion than a complaint. The breakfast was adequate and enough, but I felt it could be improved. The variety of dishes was quite limited, and while the food was acceptable, it didn’t leave a strong impression. Expanding the breakfast options would definitely improve the overall guest experience. Aside from that small point, everything else about the stay was excellent. The unique apple orchard, comfortable rooms, cozy atmosphere, scenic mountain views, and convenient location make this hotel a fantastic place to stay. I visited in April and really enjoyed my time. I would definitely like to return in winter to experience the property’s charm covered in snow.
