Hotel is very clean and well maintained including common areas, reception and rooms. Some hotels claiming to be 4 star feel very bad inside like boutique hotels. But this hotel, does feel like a true 4 star interior.Premium rooms are good size and comfortable for a couple or small family. Room decor feels neat and new.Breakfast was superb with lots of choices.1 downside was that they avr central AC and they switched it off in the middle of night and room was too warm for us to sleep. We had to call them at 2 AM and request to turn it on and provide us a standing fan as back up.Not sure whats the point of switching off AC even if it's cold outside because guest will adjust room temperature manually with thermostat inside room.

The team handled it with such grace, allowing us to settle in and start our trip without any stress.The highlight of our stay was the staff, who consistently went above and beyond:• Mr. Munib (Front Desk): On the day of our departure, we had a very early checkout before the restaurant had even opened. Mr. Munib, who manages the front desk, personally went out of his way to make and serve tea to our room himself. This gesture is something more than just hospitality—it was genuine kindness that we will never forget.• Mr. Mudassar: His attention to detail and dedication to ensuring our comfort made a significant impact on our trip. He was always proactive and ready to help with a smile.• Mr. Nazir (Our Driver): A special mention for Mr. Nazir, who made our local travels safe and enjoyable. He wasn’t just a driver but a wonderful guide who took great care of us throughout our journeys.The Sarovar Portico Srinagar doesn't just offer rooms; they offer a heartfelt experience.
