This service is quite unhelpful; they provide quotes from the app but charge a different amount and then threaten the app. The room only has a small bathroom unit labeled as AC, and it is very dirty.

Our stay was terrible. We reserved a ground floor hall room from 31.03.2026 to 3.04.2026 for our family, but without any prior notice, the room was given to someone else. They gave us many excuses, blaming their unprofessional staff for the double booking. There was no lift, the room was very dirty, and no cleaning service was provided. They charged us 4000 per day per room. A reminder to the hotel manager: you should understand what pre-booking means. You made our stay very unpleasant and disappointing.

I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel, especially if you're visiting for spiritual reasons. We stayed on March 28th and 29th, and the stay was very disappointing: there were rats on the property, which is unacceptable; the TV didn't work; the fan made constant noise that disturbed our sleep; the washroom lacked proper lighting; and the staff were unhelpful and ignored our complaints. To make matters worse, the hotel pays YouTubers to promote it with misleading videos, giving a false impression to trusting guests, particularly pilgrims. This goes beyond bad service—it's deceptive. Don't be fooled by paid promotions and visit at your own risk.

My experience at Chandra Residency in Varanasi was terrible and unacceptable. This place is a total scam. We booked ahead trusting the photos they showed, but those images were completely fake and misleading. What we actually got was shocking and disgusting. We also saw a YouTube video that was clearly a paid promotion by them. It is especially unsafe for women. We arrived at midnight and were shown completely different rooms in very poor condition. One room had a hole in the wall, and instead of fixing it properly, they said they would just cover it with paper. Another room had damp, moldy walls with a strong foul smell that made it impossible to stay inside. For people with allergies, this place is terrible. The beds, floors, and overall environment felt dirty and neglected. The entire property was extremely unhygienic, with dog droppings everywhere, which is disgusting and shows no concern for cleanliness or guest safety. It felt more like an abandoned, poorly maintained building than a guest accommodation. I love dogs, but the droppings scattered around are unacceptable. The staff's behavior was even worse. They were rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful, especially toward women. There was a very unsafe atmosphere during our stay. Around 2 AM, there was loud arguing involving women, which was frightening and inappropriate. No one felt safe staying there. This place has no standards, no accountability, and no basic decency. They deceive customers with false promises and sweet talk. I strongly advise everyone not to book Chandra Residency under any circumstances. It’s a waste of money and a risk to your safety. You will regret it.
