I am so surprised that this place has such good reviews. I really question the legitimacy of them! Out of all of the hotels I have stayed at all over the world, this is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked into this hotel it was TERRIBLE. We were informed that we hadn’t booked AC (even though I’m sure that was listed on the amenities when I booked). To be clear, the rooms all have working AC’s but they switch the AC’s off. I’ve never heard of this before! I had two boxes of sweets for Onam with me & asked if we could put it in the fridge. The reception lady said if we had booked the most expensive room we could’ve had a fridge but alas we had booked the standard room. When I asked if they could put it in their fridge she said they didn’t have one- which I find very hard to believe. She was very unhelpful & didn’t seem to care at all. Perhaps if we had booked the more expensive room she might have been more polite to us.. We were given a key and told to go down to the ground level (like a dungeon), where the view from our room was of plastic bottles outside of the hotel. So terrible! Immediately we noticed that the there was an overwhelming smell of cleaning products which was making me nauseous. The walls were in desperate need of repair and a fresh coat of paint (see photos). On top of that, the tv wasn’t working. When we called up reception she said they couldn’t fix it because it was the weekend but they could move us to a smaller standard room. We agreed to move. The room was better but we soon realised that the hot water wasn’t working. We called reception again & they sent a man to check. One man suddenly turned into 4 men in our room which made us feel really uncomfortable - it was such an invasion of privacy. We had no where we could go but sit on the bed. We ended up checking out at 9pm that day because we could not stay the night there. We were uncomfortable & we felt that we couldn’t stay a moment longer there. I expressed my frustration to the reception lady and told her I’d be writing this review but she didn’t show any care or concern. Trust me when I say that this place is horrible & you should not book this hotel!
I am extremely disappointed with my stay. The room I booked was supposed to have a city view, but I was given a ground-floor room instead. The walls were damaged, and maintenance work was being carried out around the room, which caused a lot of noise and seriously affected our stay.The room was also extremely small for the 1,300 I paid. The AC was barely working, making the room very uncomfortable. There wasn’t even a single bottle of drinking water provided in the room, which is a basic necessity. We had to go back to the reception ourselves to ask for water.Overall, it was a terrible experience and definitely not worth the amount I paid. The room condition, noise, lack of basic amenities, and poor AC made the stay extremely unpleasant. I would expect a proper explanation and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience caused.
ടോയ്ലറ്റ് clean അല്ലായിരുന്നു. Inform ചെയ്തതിന് എന്നോട് രാത്രി ഇറങ്ങി പോവാൻ പറഞ്ഞു. Receptionist ആയ ലേഡിയോട് വളരെ മോശമായി owner ബാക്കിയുള്ളവരുടെ മുന്നിൽ വച്ച് അധിക്ഷേപിച്ചു. She was crying infront of everyone. Receptionist ജോലി പോവുമോ കരുതി എനിക്ക് വേറെ room ആക്കി തന്നു. എന്റെ safety അവർ ensure ചെയ്തു. പക്ഷെ owner behaved like a local gunda. I got scared. ആ രാത്രിയിൽ receptionist പറഞ്ഞ ഉറപ്പിൽ മാത്രമാണ് അവിടെ താമസിച്ചത്. നേരം വെളുത്തതും രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു. ഒരു student ആയ എനിക്ക് ആ രാത്രി തികച്ചും പരിചയമില്ലാത്ത സ്ഥലത്ത് എവിടെയും പോവാൻ വഴിയില്ലായിരുന്നു. കയ്യിൽ വേറെ പൈസയും ഇല്ലായിരുന്നു. ആ രാത്രി എറണാകുളം പോലെയുള്ള രാത്രി ഇറങ്ങിയാൽ ഒരു സ്ത്രീ നേരിടാവുന്ന അവസ്ഥ ഊഹിക്കാവുന്നതേ ഉള്ളു. എന്റെ receptionist എങ്ങനെ ആ ജോലിയിൽ ഇരിക്കുന്നു അവരുടെ ഇപ്പോഴത്തെ അവസ്ഥ എന്തായിരിക്കും എന്നാണ്. ജീവിതത്തിൽ ഇങ്ങനെ ഒരു അനുഭവം ആദ്യം.
