Decent room to stay for couple of days near by main attraction of kumbakonam..

You can't expect more for the price you are paying, I got offer so I don't mind, compare to other lodges this is okay. If you are paying per day 1200 max means I confirm that's a good deal but if you are paying 1700 or more then in online we can found more better hotels for that deal... No drinking water facilities for cutomers, only 1 water bottle per room, and all the other additional one need to pay accordingly. Parking is not upto the mark... it's like first come first serve, sometimes yoh get chance inside, if not outside on road parking only. You will hear all noises inside. I booked a Deluxe room but it doesn't gave me that feel.

This hotel is located at the center of kumbakonam town. Many temples are at walkable distance. Parking area is congested. only four cars can be parked. Rooms are neat.

Varst service the receptionist durga is very rude and behaves as if we are staying for free the moment we exit the room to visit the temple they switch off the AC and never switched on we are supposed to remind them every time to switch on the AC and they don't care about the customer at all,stinky dirty bathrooms the ground staff acts as if they are doing it for free totally bad experience not worth the stay,the owner do not care what the customer feedback is.

I have no idea how the reviews are so good for this place - the location is good but that's it. Travelled India for months and stayed in some shocking places but this is the first time I've rated anywhere one star - and I probably would not have if the receptionists weren't so rude (other hotel staff were nice).The receptionist (female) was so so rude to us. The floor staff were nicer. However, when we checked in the staff went in front of us to spray the bathroom with deodorizer - assumably to mask the horrible smell of an extremely poor and unhygienic toilet waster system. The toilet leaks all over the bathroom floor and the smell was so horrible we had to turn on rhe fan 24/7 and keep the bathroom door shut at all times. Since the staff sprayed the bathroom before we entered the room, we know they already know this issue and can't be bothered fixing it.Also, they don't clean the bathrooms and it was so disgusting. The taps and showerhead were covered in limescale and the floor and walls covered in mold.Hot water tank is also broken and blankets are too old to use.
