Overall hotel is good with excellent location which is walkable distance from Dal lake. Can be used for long stay as well. Rooms were clean, staff was fine. Limited parking space is available. Many pure veg options are available on walkable distance in case of you are pure veg. Now few points hotel need to consider:There are few restrictions which they enforce however it might impact someone convenience who is on holiday.1) Hot water availability is limited to few hours in the morning and evening, not sure how much saving they are doing with this restriction.2) You have to submit your key if you are going out.3) No outside food: This was a bummer for me as my family member are pure veg however there are many veg restaurants nearby so it was not a big issue however it sometimes becomes little inconvenient.4) no alcohol inside premises. Though it was fine with me however its as an fyi as it might be bummer for many.As per me they should mention all these terms and conditions on booking platforms as well so that all can take informed decisions instead of surprises during check in.

Very disappointing experience at this hotel ’ definitely not recommended.First of all, they have very restrictive and inconvenient policies. They do not allow outside food, which is fine in some cases, but surprisingly they also don’t allow you to order food from their own restaurant to your room. Even for something as simple as tea, you are forced to sit in the dining area, which is quite inconvenient after a long travel day.The service was extremely slow. We ordered chicken and dum aloo for dinner and had to wait almost an hour, which is unacceptable. The food quality was even worse ’ the chapati had a bad smell, the chicken was extremely dry, and the dum aloo was overly sweet and completely tasteless. While they did not charge us for the bad food, the overall experience was still very poor.On top of that, the infrastructure is not maintained properly. The lift stops working every time there is a power cut, and power cuts happen quite frequently. Many switches in the room were not working, and even the telephone was non-functional.Overall, a very frustrating stay with poor service, bad food, and lack of basic convenience. Would strongly advise others to avoid this place.

I stayed at this hotel during my visit to Srinagar and had a truly pleasant experience. The location is excellent; it’s within walking distance of Dal Lake, which made it very convenient for sightseeing and enjoying the surroundings.The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, providing a relaxing space after a long day out. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive, always ready to assist with anything I needed.The in-house menu offered a good variety of delicious options, and the food was quite satisfying. I also appreciated the availability of consistent hot water in the bathroom, which added to the overall comfort of the stay.Overall, I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Srinagar.

Best Hotels in Market with great facilities for family stay with good choice of vegitarian foods option with personal care and serve. I will suggest all vegitarian family to select this as the staff is very supportive and respect all guest with very politeand respectful reply for all questions. Excellent Comfort and Hospitality at Hotel Pacific, SrinagarI recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Pacific in Srinagar, and it proved to be a fantastic base for my trip. The hotel truly impressed me with its comfort, convenience, and wonderful staff.The location is excellent, situated very close to Dal Lake, making it incredibly easy to start my mornings with a leisurely walk or quickly access a shikara ride.My room was a great size’big and wonderfully cozy. It felt like a true retreat after a long day. I especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities like the room heater, which kept the space perfectly warm and comfortable during the chilly evenings. The bed was also very cozy, ensuring a great night's sleep every time.The standout feature, however, was the service. The entire staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They were always ready to assist with a warm smile and provided excellent guidance, truly exemplifying the famous hospitality of Kashmir.Overall, Hotel Pacific is a superb choice for travelers looking for a comfortable, clean, and welcoming stay in Srinagar, offering great value and superb staff service. I wholeheartedly recommend it!
