I booked this hotel in Varanasi from 02 Oct to 03 Oct and unfortunately had a very poor experience.The room provided was significantly different from the one advertised on Agoda. While the online photos showed a clean and well-maintained room, the actual room had multiple issues, including a strong unpleasant odor, poor cleanliness, damp walls, and visible maintenance concerns. Most concerning was the presence of cockroaches in both the room and bathroom, which raised serious hygiene concerns. I have photographs documenting these issues.Upon noticing the condition of the room, I immediately requested the hotel staff to either provide the same room category as shown on Agoda or change my room to a cleaner one. However, the staff was uncooperative and rude in their response. My request for a room change was denied, and despite the room being substantially different from what was advertised, the hotel also refused to offer any refund or reasonable resolution.Additionally, the hotel premises appeared to be undergoing construction or renovation work during my stay, which was not disclosed at the time of booking. Very Disappointing Experience ’ Photos and Parking Information Are MisleadingOur experience at Hotel Varanasi Heritage was extremely disappointing. The Deluxe Room shown in the MakeMyTrip photos was completely different from the room initially provided to us. We were given a Standard Room instead of the Deluxe Room we had booked. Only after a lot of arguments and repeated requests did the hotel agree to change the room.Even after that, we had booked two rooms, but only one room was changed, and the two rooms were allotted on different floors, which was very inconvenient for a family travelling with children.The biggest disappointment was the parking. The property information mentioned private parking, but the actual parking was around 500 metres away from the hotel in an open plot. This can hardly be called private hotel parking. When we took our car out, the entire vehicle was covered with bird and pigeon droppings because the car was parked in an open, poorly maintained area.My sincere request to MakeMyTrip and the hotel is to show the actual room photos instead of misleading customers with better-looking Deluxe Room photographs, and if the hotel does not have proper on-site private parking, it should not be advertised as ’private parking’.Overall, we felt that the information shown online did not match the actual experience. Families should be careful before booking this property, especially if room category and parking are important to them.

Had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The staff was incredibly warm, courteous, and always ready to help with a smile. Their attention to detail and genuine hospitality made the experience truly special. I felt welcomed throughout my stay and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. Highly recommended, and I would love to stay here again!
