IBC Honeydew Exotica Resort

We stayed one night at this hotel in July. Sadly, it rained the entire time, so we couldn't explore the property much. We booked the heritage deluxe room, which was quite average and didn't justify the 7.5k per night price. High tea and breakfast were included. Breakfast had good options with a wide variety. High tea consisted only of tea, coffee, and some punugulu. The restaurant area was leaking, causing the floor to be wet throughout. Common areas like the children's play area were covered in red mud/sand, making everything dirty due to the rain. The indoor play area offered a good selection of games like pool, carrom, and chess. Room service food was tasty. Overall, it was a very average stay.

A fantastic spot to unwind with family. The staff are warm and attentive, handling activities and plans proactively, which makes the experience very comfortable. We had an amazing time and appreciated the hospitality. Strongly recommended!

While heading to another resort, I noticed this one and decided to walk in without a prior booking. Fortunately, a few rooms were available. The resort is beautiful, and Altaf is an excellent host. We stayed in a premium suite that was very luxurious and spotless. There are only three such rooms, and the view was stunning. Breakfast and afternoon tea were complimentary and tasted great. However, lunch and dinner could be better, and I recommended expanding the menu options.

We just got back from a wonderful family getaway at Honeydewwz Exoticaa Hotel & Resort in Chikmagalur, and I couldn't be happier with our stay. We were there to celebrate my wife's birthday, and the team truly went out of their way to make it an unforgettable trip.A massive thank you to Mery, who helped me pull off the perfect little surprise. She arranged a beautiful room decoration and got a fantastic cake for my wife’it completely made her day and brought a huge smile to her face!Everything else about the resort was just as brilliant. The food was absolutely amazing (we looked forward to every single meal), and the housekeeping staff deserves a special shoutout. They were incredibly kind, prompt, and so patient in accommodating every little request we had as a family.

The location and surroundings of the resort are absolutely scenic, but unfortunately our overall experience was very disappointing.Right from check-in, there was no warm welcome, and the room was quite disappointing with an old and poorly maintained setup. Whenever we requested food or other services, the staff repeatedly focused on explaining what would be charged rather than being helpful.During heavy rain, we were inside the restaurant and simply requested an umbrella to get back to our room. Instead of helping or guiding us, we were bluntly told that there were no umbrellas. The staff were generally not very polite or welcoming. The breakfast buffet was also disappointing, with very limited variety.Overall, the location is beautiful, but the hospitality, room quality, service attitude and food experience need significant improvement. Unfortunately, the experience did not match the expectations created by such a beautiful property.
