Had a wonderful stay at Secluza Resort! The location is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature and offering such a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. The food was amazing, the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was top-notch. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the owner was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Everything was very well taken care of. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Chikmagalur — would definitely love to stay here again! ❤️
Plan to go only if you have a vehicle with very high ground clearance and don't mind shockers damage. Last 6 kms is muddy , rocky dirt patch which took us 45 minutes. The views from the Mountain view rooms are amazing but Hotel is not concerned about the quality of guests, cleanliness. We booked a mountain view room. 4 out of 5 rooms were booked by Tamil men (around 8) who had come for booze and partying. They made lot of noise in front lawn till late night and left the empty bottles, food outaide before going to sleep. Stray dogs spread the trash in lawn and in front of rooms which was a very bad experience when you come out in the morning to enjoy the views. The trash was not cleared till noon even after complaining. The experience with morning trek to stream and view point was not great. The boy (guide) turned up late and then kept us waiting to club members from nearby resort join the group, very unprofessional management.
Had a wonderful stay at this property in Chikmagalur! 🌿 It’s a perfect place for a peaceful staycation and a little escape into the wilderness. There’s around 5 km of off-road drive to reach the property, so make sure you go in a vehicle that’s in proper condition. If you’re not comfortable driving on the off-road stretch, it’s better to contact the resort manager in advance—they can arrange a pickup jeep. The property has a small lake with pedal boating, a beautiful river stream with a waterfall, and caves to explore. The natural surroundings are absolutely beautiful and make the stay really special.Wi-Fi connection is surprisingly strong, although mobile network is not available—which actually makes it a great place to disconnect and relax. Food was good, and the staff were very friendly, helpful, and patient throughout the stay.Highly recommended if you’re looking for a peaceful stay surrounded by nature! 🌿✨
