I recently booked a stay at Kohinoor Exotica, Lonavala through Agoda, and unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing.The condition of the room was not satisfactory and basic cleanliness and hygiene standards were lacking. I noticed **fungus/mould and visible stains on the bedsheet**, which was extremely concerning and uncomfortable.I also requested the hotel to cancel one of the two booked days (1st–2nd October) due to the room condition and emailed them regarding the same, but I received **no response**. I tried contacting Agoda multiple times as well, but unfortunately, I couldn't get through to anyone.Even basic amenities were disappointing. For example, the room was provided with only **two 500 ml bottles of water**, rather than a reasonable quantity for a hotel stay.Overall, the experience was far below what I expected. I’m sharing this review so that other travellers can **consider these issues carefully before booking**, especially when choosing this property for a stay in Lonavala.
The bed had a bad odor, like it had been urinated on. The cupboard was missing its door. The AC was terrible, making a loud noise and combined with the bad smell, it was impossible to sleep. The location is good, and the breakfast was just average. You might want to book a room without breakfast since the hotel is in a market area with many breakfast options nearby. Rama Krishna is also not far away. The pool is very small. Paying 5K for a deluxe room is not worth it; honestly, it shouldn't cost more than 2.5K. The staff either don't understand Hindi/Marathi or have hearing issues. The TV was not working, there were no toiletries, the towels were dirty, and there were cockroaches everywhere.
