My experience with this hotel was very disappointing. To start, the rooms were far too small for the price we paid—around ₹5,000 each for three rooms. You can find much better accommodations for that price on any hotel booking app. Initially, the rooms we were assigned were infested with cockroaches, including on the beds and in the bathrooms, and some even got into our bags, which was really unpleasant. After complaining, we were moved to rooms on an upper floor that were a bit better but still very cramped and had a worse view. The checkout process was the worst part; we were stopped from leaving because they wanted to check if we had taken anything from the room. While I understand the need for inspection, the reception staff's rude behavior made us feel like thieves. When we raised the cockroach issue earlier, the staff said there was nothing they could do. If the hotel can't handle such a basic hygiene problem, what are customers paying ₹5,000 per room for? We stayed in Meghalaya for 8 days, and booking this hotel was probably the biggest error of our trip. The food was good, but aside from that, I wouldn't recommend staying here. There are far better options at this price point.

I highly recommend this hotel to everyone. I had booked a room and paid in advance, but two days before my trip, the situation worsened due to a student union protest, so I chose to cancel. When I informed the hotel management, they were very polite and professional, promptly canceling my booking and refunding the full advance payment. I was truly impressed by the hospitality and professionalism of the staff from the start. For me, this is definitely a 5-star experience. I hope to visit their place whenever I get the chance to go to Shillong again.

The price is too high... You can find much better rates at other hotels.
