Lashisha

We stayed here in May 2026. The guest house is located outside Shillong city in a peaceful area. There isn't an on-site restaurant, but food can be ordered via a food app. As a family with two children, we found the sleeping space limited and had to make adjustments.

We stayed for two days. The staff's service and attitude were excellent. The best part of our stay was the cleanliness. The rooms were very tidy, and the hotel's view was fantastic. The breakfast was also enjoyable.

Excellent location with peaceful surroundings and convenient access to the city. Mr. Bahdeng was very helpful and went above and beyond to assist us with arrangements after our next destination was cancelled because of a flood. Wonderful place to stay. Thanks, Bahdeng!

We stayed here for two days in a 2bhk apartment, which was quite roomy. The terrace offers a panoramic view of Shillong city. The food we ordered was delicious and plentiful, with generous portions. The hospitality was excellent. The highlight is that you can easily access all of Shillong's tourist attractions from this location without having to stay in the noisy Police Bazar area.

I stayed at Lashisha Guest House in Shillong and really enjoyed my time there. The rooms were tidy, comfortable, and the hot water functioned well even during chilly mornings. The hosts, particularly Mr. Bhadeng, were very welcoming and assisted us with local advice and arranging taxis to Cherrapunji. The location is quiet yet conveniently close to Police Bazaar. It offers excellent value and sincere hospitality. I strongly suggest it for families, couples, solo travelers, and backpackers.
