The room was big, nice and clean which is good. The ambiance is welcoming with planters which was good. Tracing the host was a bit tricky as there are no signages leading to the host, its better to call from ground floor. The breakfast is good. Few minor areas of opportunity is with the clarity on food orders to be taken, we asked for dinner options and it was too much of too and fro so we decided to venture out. The location is at cross road so there is a little inconvenience with getting in and out in a car.

My wife and I spent 5 days at East Bread & Breakfast Homestay in Shillong, staying in two different rooms on separate days, and our experience was exceptional from beginning to end. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed with warmth, comfort, and positivity. Both rooms were roomy, clean, well-kept, and offered great value. Every aspect was carefully arranged to ensure guest comfort. What stood out most was the hospitality—the owner and staff were very helpful, polite, and always willing to assist. Their sincere care made us feel more like family than guests. During our stay, it never felt like we were away from home; it truly felt like our own home in Shillong. Breakfast was tasty, freshly made, and served promptly. All necessary amenities were available, and everything was managed smoothly for a stress-free stay. If you want a cozy, inviting, and affordable place to stay in Shillong, I highly recommend East Bread & Breakfast Homestay. The mix of great lodging, excellent hospitality, and a homely vibe made our visit unforgettable. Thanks to the owner and staff for making our trip so special.
