Maya Hotel

I stayed at Maya Hotel in Chandigarh, and overall, I found it overpriced. I booked through Expedia, where it was rated 9/10 and about $50 a night’a price that’s high for a tier-2 city like Chandigarh, especially given the quality. The hotel is well-located, which is one of its few positives.The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to help me, which was the only real positive. Unfortunately, the room itself was very disappointing’the bathroom and bedsheets were dirty and stained, with visible black mold in the bathroom. I also saw two cockroaches running across my desk (see attached picture). The TV in the room wasn’t working, and the hotel breakfast was mediocre at best.Overall, I would not recommend this hotel due to cleanliness issues, non-functioning amenities, and the high price, despite the excellent service from the staff.

We booked 2 rooms and stayed for 2 days at Maya hotel. Excellent location and great rooms.They provide great service as well with decent complimentary breakfast. Really happy with the room size at the price, definitely worth the money spent. There are few things which should be improved1. Car parking is not included even after booking the hotel room.2. The hotel doesn't provide plastic chairs even on request.3. Towels were not really cleaned.

The banquet hall was beautifully decorated, creating the perfect festive atmosphere. The staff was extremely courteous, attentive, and well-coordinated, ensuring everything ran smoothly throughout the evening.The food was delicious ’ every dish, from starters to desserts, was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service team made sure all our guests were comfortable and well-served at all times.A big thank you to the Maya Hotel team for their excellent hospitality and professional management. Our entire group thoroughly enjoyed the celebration. Highly recommended for corporate events, parties, and family functions in Chandigarh!

Stayed here recently ’ overall an average experience.Rooms need better upkeep; there were cracks on the ceiling, stained floors, and the bathroom fittings were old. Housekeeping standards could improve too.The staff, however, were good and very polite, which made the stay a bit better. The location is convenient as well. With some renovation and closer attention to cleanliness, this place could be much more comfortable.
