The property is quite expensive for what it offers. While there was a café nearby, most other amenities and attractions were located far away, making it somewhat inconvenient. The in-house restaurant required guests to inform them a day in advance if they planned to dine there, which was unexpected and reduced flexibility. Even optional activities were overpriced—the bonfire arrangement, in particular, felt excessively expensive, so we decided to cancel it.On the positive side, the view from the property was beautiful, the location was peaceful and ideal for relaxation, and the rooms were generally comfortable. However, the rooms had noticeable fungal stains on the walls, and one of the blankets provided was torn, which affected the overall impression and suggested that maintenance and housekeeping standards could be improved.Overall, the stay had some enjoyable aspects, but considering the high cost, there is significant room for improvement in both service and value for money.

Room service could be improved.

We spent one night here. The location is excellent. The view from the hotel is stunning. The rooms are cozy. There is no restaurant, but you can order food from outside using Zomato.

Very disappointing experience and definitely not what I expected from a property in Ooty.The staff lacked basic knowledge about the property and were unable to provide accurate information when asked. Communication regarding breakfast was poor, and the staff seemed unaware of the available breakfast options.While the rooms may appear cozy in pictures, the reality is quite different. The room had an unpleasant smell, the pillows and bedsheets were old, worn out, and did not feel properly maintained. Cleanliness was also a major concern throughout the stay, which significantly affected the overall experience.Apart from the check-in process, there was virtually no support or service from the staff. Requests were not proactively addressed, and guests are largely left to manage on their own.The property has potential because of its location, but the lack of cleanliness, poor maintenance, inadequate service, and untrained staff made the stay disappointing. I would respectfully not recommend this property to fellow travelers until significant improvements are made in housekeeping, staff training, and guest services.
