We stayed recently and experienced zero customer service from the hotel staff. The actual checkin time was 1 pm and we entered hotel premises post 1:30 pm. Rooms were not cleaned and they ask to wait for more than 30 minutes. Poor food quality. Blankets were not properly cleaned.Requesting hotel staff and owner to improvise on standards where we can feel to stay and think of coming again.

The place was pathetic, rooms are very dirty, paint is coming out of the walls, dirty linens and blanket. The TV doesn't work and photos are very decisive, do not fall for the photos. The lady at the reception was very arrogant, rude behaviour and not hospitable at all. Also they do not provide drinking water at all. Please do not stay here

The rooms were in pathetic condition, walls stained and TV was not working, no electric kettle. They are not providing drinking water as well, it is chargeable and do not go by the photos. Photos are very decisive, the people were not at all hospitable and service is terrible. The lady at the reception was arrogant and terrible behaviour. Please do not stay here.

I stayed here a week ago. We had booked for the whole week, but we had to cut short our stay here due to its terrible location from Upper Shillong. If one wants to explore Shillong in the evening or at night, this is not the place to stay. This is around an hour away from Main Shillong centre. The food here is quite expensive and taste wise okay. There are a lot of cats in this place. I don’t hate them. But if while eating, they try to climb onto my lap under the table, I will get freaked out. So, I did. And the cats are quite cold at night, they are not given a warm bed maybe. They scratch at the doors all night long.The room we were given was too small for 2 people. And the insulation of the room is terrible. Air comes in from all the nooks, like under the doors. There was no lock on the door. We had to put our own lock for the days we stayed. But I think they provide lock and keys for guests.There is no reception. I was roaming all around when I found a boy going inside, he showed us the way and gave us room. Their service is terrible. First, finding a person to ask or request something is a task. Once you find and request, either they will tell you wait for another person or take another 30mins to 1 hour to get back to you. I tried calling both the numbers in the menu provided. No one picked up. There are no heaters in the room. It used to get around 5-6 degrees in the night when we were there.The only good thing was that there was a proper geyser in the bathroom and we could get hot water whenever we needed.There were no toiletries, no glasses, no kettle provided. The room only had a TV, a cupboard, a small table, a plastic chair and a bed. And the attached bathroom was okay. It was clean and the taps were fine. But the toilet shower pressure was too low.The location is very far from main centre, and this home stay is located in a village type of area. You won’t get anything here. To get to the shops, you will have to walk 8-10 mins.Even the mineral water they will give you after you ask them, will be chargeable. If you are staying here in a large group or staying just one night as a stopover, it’s ok.They are not very hospitable. Their service is terrible.I booked this place seeing so many good reviews. But after reaching there, we were dumbstruck. As nothing were to our expectations.We had cut short 3 days of our stay. As we booked online, we could not cancel or ask for refund. But we requested if something can be done with the food bill. But alas, nothing could be done from their end. Nevertheless, we had a very bitter experience here and would not recommend anyone to stay here unless absolutely necessary.
