The rooms are stylish, comfortable, and elegantly decorated, and the entire team—from reception and kitchen staff to gardeners—is exceptionally warm, attentive, and polite. They went the extra mile to celebrate my husband's birthday with a beautifully decorated room, a tasty homemade breakfast cake, and special dishes made just for him. Such heartfelt hospitality is hard to come by. The atmosphere is simply enchanting—lush greenery, fruit trees, blooming shrubs, birdsong everywhere, and a vibe of total tranquility and positivity. From the very beginning, the haveli captured our hearts. In the busy city of Jaipur, it feels like a true getaway from everyday life. Every staff member was polite and friendly. I rarely write reviews unless absolutely necessary. I'm from California and have traveled to over 30 countries, booking many hotels and Airbnbs along the way. I've also booked hotels in Jaipur since my fiancé is Indian and from there. However, I've never encountered such poor guest treatment, lack of professionalism, and inflexibility. My fiancé and I wanted a few nice photos before I returned to California, so we asked a friend to take some pictures with our phone. We planned to book a hotel to change outfits, but the property refused. They said my fiancé couldn't enter the room even though we explained it was just for changing clothes, and they limited us to only 2-3 photos. I can't imagine any culture or place where this kind of denial is normal. They also said I had to pay extra for him to enter. When I requested a refund, they said it was non-refundable. I hope the royal family who owns this place reads this and understands they represent Indian heritage and culture, but as a guest, I was treated poorly. I don't think places like this should be supported since they prioritize money and reputation, which to me feels hollow. Maintaining a reputation and culture requires responsibility, empathy, and sensitivity, which this property and its owners seem to lack. I hope this review helps travelers coming from outside India. Find a heritage hotel that doesn't have such petty issues.
